September 2016 and ongoing
A breakout area and training room were among the new additions installed at an industrial technology firm by our team. GOM in Coventry tasked WorkBox with extending their offices after taking over a new unit next to their existing units. The firm offers professional 3D scanning and traceable inspection software and asked us to convert the new space into a designated training room and breakout area for staff. Our crew also created a walk through into the new area, branching off from the existing offices, and fully fitted it out with lighting, power and data.
The project took two weeks and included a new shower room, window blinds throughout and new doorways as well as logos applied to internal and external glass and windows.
Andrew Cuffley, managing director at GOM, said: “It was an easy process, with understandable costs and timings – without a pressure sell. So, I felt I was doing it at a pace I liked, at a cost I was prepared for to timings that worked.”
Nicki Brotherston, of WorkBox, said: “GOM were a joy to work with and being on site so regularly, I felt like it was my second office. I was made to feel so welcome.”
GOM develops, produces and distributes software, machines and systems for industrial and automated 3D coordinate measuring technology and 3D testing based on latest research results and innovative technologies. The company employs more than 1,000 metrology specialists on 60 sites.
