Worsley, near Manchester
January 2017 for 18 weeks.
Phase One included a full fit-out at a three-storey modular building. Our team worked alongside the Balfour Beatty Modular team on the extension project to build offices, meeting spaces, kitchenettes and toilet facilities on all floors. A total of 108 workstations, five meeting rooms, three kitchenette areas and the comms room were built during the six-week project.
Mark Barltrop, property manager for Balfour Beatty, said: “The Worsley project for Balfour Beatty was a great success and was executed by WorkBox to the specification and design required by the business. The team at WorkBox worked diligently to ensure our demands were carried from the initial interior design through the construction phases and even moving the staff into the new facility. A difficult project due to its size, active site environment, multiple stakeholders and programme, however WorkBox delivered efficiently and our staff are now enjoying their new office environments.”
Mark added: “Our partnership with WorkBox grows from strength to strength. They are always obliging of what we require down to the last detail. The designs are fully in line with what Balfour Beatty require and consistent in quality. They are highly professional and always complete project work with little disruption, on time and budget.”
WorkBox project manager, Tom Beeson, said: “It has been a pleasure to manage and deliver a fantastic new working environment for the many professionals at Balfour Beatty. Thanks to all those who worked so hard, we were able to ensure the smooth delivery of the project on time and budget.”
