A new coffee shop-style staff restaurant has been a big hit at a solicitor’s firm in Coventry. The relaxing space for employees is part of a large scale fit out we completed for Band Hatton Button in the city centre. The finished article is reminiscent of Costa coffee style cafes and provides staff with a chill out refreshment area.

Our team started work on the refurbishment project in January with a blank canvas of 11,800 sq ft of space to house 90 members of staff. After our initial meeting with Band Hatton Button in last summer, our designers worked closely with our client to incorporate our ideas to bring their vision to life.

The design also included a new reception area with the wow factor, encompassing a bespoke slate wall, a handmade reception desk and a custom-built refreshment station for customers. Our team, also installed a state-of-the-art conference/board room, providing a great space for meetings and tailor-made storage wall, which lends extra space in the disabled toilets.

The project was completed by mid-April, with the solicitors moving in over the Easter weekend. WorkBox provided all new office furniture and incorporated the client’s brand colour of pink in the design of the seating.
