WorkBox has been working with adult educational charity WEA for more than eight years. During our ongoing relationship, we have completed numerous high-quality classroom and office refurbishment projects for Workers Educational Association (WEA) nationwide including Leicester, Nottingham, Bristol, Leeds, Cambridge, Portsmouth and Winchester among others.
Our design team are fully committed to making sure members of the public using the adult education workshops are taught in modern and appealing classrooms. The spaces also make full use of technology that is required in today’s world. The courses on offer enable people to improve their employability, health and wellbeing, engagement within the community and get more involved in cultural activities. WorkBox’s relationship with the WEA ensures we support their aims and needs in their teaching spaces.
Another recent project was the regional office in Leicester, which received a total refurbishment creating new offices, canteen and kitchen area as well as new toilet facility. The project included a design layout with change of use to create additional working and recreational space for staff. The space also allowed other regional staff to carry out internal meetings at the Midlands office. The project was delivered on time and on budget.
Director of WorkBox Stuart Thacker said: “We are proud of our ongoing relationship with WEA and greatly support their teaching requirements and the needs of their clients. They provide a valuable resource and we are always happy to work with them.”
